I believe the best photos aren’t about perfect poses or looking at the camera—they’re about how it felt to be there.

That’s why my sessions are built around connection, not performance. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’m mostly there to create space for real moments to happen naturally.

Because years from now, you won’t care about whether everything was perfectly in place—you’ll care about how it felt.

When you work with me, you can expect a session that feels easy, laid-back, and genuine. No pressure, no awkward posing—just simple direction and room to be yourselves.

A little about me...

I started my photography journey when my wife gifted me my first camera years ago. We loved touring national parks and taking in the beauty the world had to offer. Naturally, my first few years were just landscapes and nature.

My heart will always be rooted in the outdoors, but I always felt something was missing. I needed a subject in those frames to give context to the scale; to show how we interact within the serenity of nature.

I branched out into the world of portraits. I realized that the beauty of nature became elevated when I added people. Their personalities and emotional connections quickly overtook me. We, as people, also make this world beautiful.

And as learned over the years, even a decade old camera can make any moment timeless.
